Submitted by sappermarc on Thu, 12/10/2009 - 9:30am

BC Small Business

Date: Monday, December 14, 2009 - 13:00 - 16:00 PST
Price: $39.00

Come to this seminar and learn how to protect your business brand. Understand who owns your IP - you, your business, your employees or the consultants you have hired to do work for you. Distinguish between copyrights, trademarks and patents and how to decide which will work best for your business. Included is a visit to www.cipo.icigc.ca, an overview of registration procedures, costs and other forms of intellectual property protection. It will also look at steps to take when you believe someone is infringing your intellectual property.

This seminar is hosted at Small Business BC in Vancouver and delivered to other locations via live video conference.
